Everything you add in CacaoTracker — items, photos, borrowers, and lending history — stays on your device. CacaoTracker does not have a server and does not send your data anywhere. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
First, make sure notifications are allowed: go to Settings → Notifications → CacaoTracker on your device and confirm "Allow Notifications" is on. Also check inside CacaoTracker that reminders are enabled for the specific item, and that it has a due date set. Reminders only fire for items that are currently marked as lent out.
Yes — you can create an item and lend it to someone later. Just leave the borrower field empty when creating the item; no due date or reminder is set until you actually lend it.
Tap the photo area when creating or editing an item, then choose "Take Photo" to use your camera, or "Choose from Library" to pick an existing photo. If the camera option doesn't appear, your device may not have a camera available (e.g. in some testing environments), or camera access may need to be allowed in Settings → CacaoTracker → Camera.
Open the item or person's detail page and tap the edit icon in the top-right corner. From there you can update details or delete the entry entirely.
These set the due date automatically when you lend an item — for example, choosing "14" sets the due date to 14 days from today. Choose "Custom" if you'd rather pick a specific date yourself.
No. CacaoTracker works fully offline and doesn't require signing up or logging in.
Please email us with a short description of what happened (or what you'd like to see), the steps to reproduce it if it's a bug, and your device model and iOS version if relevant. Screenshots help a lot too.
